For most people, Svadisthana chakra is activated when sexually aroused. The second chakra is where our sexual fantasies come from. If you like to be sexual in water, sea, bathtub or shower, if you are excited by wet t-shirts and wet and wild sexuality, all of this is on the level of the second chakra.

If a woman walks on the street, moving her hips sexually, and a man feels arousal while seeing it, that’s on the level of the second chakra. If a man and a woman are making love and their bodies are undulating in a flowing way, that’s on the level of the second chakra.

The sex on the Svadisthana level is wet, a lot of sexual bodily fluids are excreted, the woman is wet, the man excretes a lot of lubricant, the bodies are wet and sweaty. Svadisthana chakra consciousness can be more open in people who are astrologically of a water sign: Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio.

Some people have blockages at the level of Svadisthana chakra and they don’t like it at all. They are not excited by wet and sweaty bodies, they rather tend to be repulsed by it. Some women like their breasts to be kissed and licked, some women don’t like this wet feeling at all.

When they are asked, what they like, they say, they don’t like the wet but they like a hot and passionate touch and kiss, which is a different sensation. The consciousness of the second chakra is the most common and most people are on this level with their sexuality.

Most of people’s sexual problems are related to the second chakra. Those who are on the level of Svadisthana chakra, like to flirt and play with other people’s feelings. They seduce someone and then reject them. They behave ruthlessly and then again gently and caringly.

All such sexual games and sadomasochistic behavior, are manifestations of a degenerated Svadisthana chakra. They feel pleasure while torturing someone or when being tortured and feeling pain. All of the sexuality portrayed by Hollywood – bodies clinging together in bed, full moon romance, seaside or river/lakeside romance and falling in love.

All such romantic fantasies work on the level of Svadisthana. This is the way how Hollywood sees and reflects perfect sex and this designs the sexual fantasies of people all over the world. Hollywood shows what most people believe to be the right sexuality and love. Hollywood is purely about business and brainwashing and this kind of romantic story sells well.

Manipura chakra

Manipura is the third chakra, located in the area of the navel and related to the fire element.

Manipura creates passion, it is dry and hot and related to hot-blooded temperament. This chakra is more often dominating in Spain, Mexico and Japan. Sex at the level of Manipura is passionate, there’s expression of great desire and fiery feelings. The dynamics of sex is hot and passionate, sexual organs feel hot, not wet and cool. This is like Argentine tango or flamenco through sex.

Manipura chakra consciousness can be more open in people whose astrologic signs are of the fire element: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Manipura sexuality is seldom manifested in pure form. Usually it is combined with Svadishana chakra sexuality. Sensitively flowing, romantic and creative sexuality is connected with passion, fire and dominating.

Pure Manipura sexuality is often too extreme for people. How the deviations of Manipura sexuality occur, we can see in the countries where Manipura consciousness is prevalent. For example, Japan. Samurai culture is a clear form of manifestation of Manipura consciousness and in the samurai culture sex was not an everyday activity or something to be enjoyed.

Japanese men enjoy sexual power games where women are tied up, different games of dominating, submission and humiliation are played. It is important who controls and leads the situation. Feeling the power is more important than closeness or intimacy. Passion has another dark side. If a man in Svadisthana consciousness is jealous, he will make a scandal, cry and fall into depression.

If a man in Manipura consciousness is jealous, he will take a knife and stab you without thinking of the consequences. Crimes of passion are a manifestation of degenerated Manipura chakra sexuality. Degenerated Svadisthana and Manipura sexualities are very different in this sense. Manipura sexuality often manifests through violence. When we move up through chakras, this kind of sexuality gets more uncommon.

Anahta chakra

Anahata chakra is the fourth chakra located in the middle of the chest and it is related to the air element. Anahata chakra sexuality is gentle and light as air. It is tender and delicate, it is related to the feeling of freedom. The movement of hippies and flower children was driven by the Anahata chakra sexuality. To be free, to be me, to live in the nature, to be independent of the society and money. To live freely as a bird in the sky. This hippie movement didn’t carry a pure Anahata consciousness though and soon faded into the ideology of the capitalist west. Anahata chakra consciousness can be more open in people who have the astrological signs of the air element: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.

The air element manifests in sexuality through touch. Hands are like the extensions of the heart chakra. People with more open Anahata chakras like to touch a lot, to caress, stroke, fondle, embrace. To express love through physical touch. Some people though are allergic to touch, they don’t want to be touched. This is a clear sign of a blockage at the Anahata chakra level. If partners’ sexuality is at the level of Anahata chakra, it can be very enjoyable when bodies touch each other. They caress their chests gently against each other and can experience ecstasy even without a sexual intercourse.

Feeling other’s body and skin touching their body can be sufficient for an orgasm. Gentle and light touch. Also, kisses are gentle and dry, as if without sexuality. Sexuality is sublimated into love. Pure Anahata sexuality is very rare. Some nations have more of it, depending also on the consciousness level of the nation. Anahata chakra sexuality is very beautiful. When people are practicing tantra and their sexual energy and consciousness reach heart chakra, their sexuality becomes much more gentle and sensitive.

It is like sacred sexuality, as if the gods would be having sex. It doesn’t include desire and animality, it is beautiful and pure and a little playful. When practicing tantra, it could be one goal to raise sexual energy to the level of Anahata and to be in this state of mind while making love.

Vishuddha chakra

Vishuddha is the fifth chakra located in the area of the throat and connected to the element of ether. This is empty space between the Earth and the stars, cosmic emptiness. Vishuddha chakra carries the energy of purity. The perception of time and space, pure intuition. Pure creativity in the sense of science and art, aesthetic feelings.

Sexuality at the level of Vishuddha is very rare. Some statues in Indian temples reflect sexuality at the level of Vishuddha chakra. This is demigod-like sexuality. The Tibetan Buddhists have a ritual where they make love with Dakinis. They are spiritual beings, demigods who are sometimes born in human body. Sex with a Dakini, superhuman goddess, where science, mathematics, arts and intuition are connected, is something sacred.

Vishuddha chakra sexuality is very hard to describe nowadays, as its consciousness is very rare and people don’t resonate with it, don’t understand it. This is one of the most problematic chakras because people don’t understand the purity that accompanies lovemaking at the level of Vishuddha. For most people lovemaking and sex has nothing to do with the purity that is reflected at the level of Vishuddha chakra. This is a kind of special approach to sexuality and if you can feel and understand it then it will make sense to you.

This is a co-existence of innocence, purity and love, as if Virgin Mary would make love with you. A woman who is the symbol of innocence, purity and motherly love. It is hard to even name it sex. This is a way of expressing love, at so high a vibrational level, that it is even hard to relate it to sex. In tantra sex is a way of expressing love. Love is the highest form of sex and sex is the lowest form of love.

Sex grows into love and love expresses itself through sex. They are naturally connected and don’t need to be separated. In the right hand tantra love is love and sex is not important or necessary. In left hand tantra love and sex are related and form an integrated whole.

If you experience sexuality at the level of Vishuddha chakra, it would feel like someone telling you “I love you” through mathematical formulas. It is a powerful, intensive, pure, innocent, perfect, cosmic experience, also reflecting clarity, wisdom and awareness.

It is like a pure symbiosis of consciousness and the feeling of love. It is very rare and it is likely that in the beginning you won’t experience it. If a person has an inclination towards the opening of Vishuddha chakra, (s)he can experience it sooner.

Ajna chakra

Ajna is the sixth chakra located in the middle of the forehead, the so-called “third eye”. It is on the level of the mind, and sexuality at that level is like the sexuality of the consciousness of angels and gods. It is the sexuality of pure consciousness and soul level that is very hard to understand. In India it is symbolized by Shiva Ardhana Rishvara, it is a symbol of Shiva that is in the form of half male, half female.

The right side is male and the left side is female. Man and woman together in one body so that they form an integrated whole. This symbolizes the vanishing of duality. Ajna chakra is the last chakra where duality is still manifested. If you manage to raise your sexual energy to Ajna chakra, then you’ll feel that it cannot get any better. The only way to rise even higher is to become one with the partner.

As long as there exist two lovers, Ajna chakra’s sexuality is the highest and most elevated experience.

Sahasrara chakra

Sahasrara is the seventh chakra and it is located above the head. Sahasrara reflects becoming one. At that level there is no duality, it is a level of pure consciousness.

At his level there is no sexuality, it is a state of pure meditation. Shiva is Shakti and Shakti is Shiva. At this level they become one and there is no longer those who could make love and engage in sex.
